I am drawn to landscapes rich in history but now decaying, abandoned, or in transience. I search for odd juxtapositions, unexpected beauty and hidden traces of the past. My aim is to create images which, although not entirely representational, do have a recognisable sense of place. Drawing is an essential part of my practice and underpins everything that I do. I work with a range of materials including oil pastel,
